Why has the colour of the Australian Bush Flower Essences changed?
Some customers have noticed that the colour of the essences in the stock bottles has changed. While the essences used to be consistently amber-coloured, more and more bottles now contain a clear, colourless liquid.
The reason: Australian Bush Flower Essences has switched to a higher quality grape brandy that does not contain added caramel. It was the caramel content in the previous brandy that gave it its typical amber colour. By removing it, the essences can now be classified as gluten free — a benefit for anyone with gluten sensitivity.
The quality and effectiveness of the essences remain unchanged — in fact, the new brandy is of a higher quality than the one used previously. Each batch is tested by the manufacturer to ensure consistent quality.
