About us

The idea for our Business was born in the spring of 2005 when I (Carsten Sann) had to realize after a kinesiological session that in Germany it was only possible to get more exotic essences with relatively great difficulty. Sometimes it was even impossible. In my special case it was about the Balancer Combination from Pacific Essences (by the way, in my opinion the best emergency essence of all), which I then finally had to order in Switzerland - with all the disadvantages like high shipping costs, customs, etc.

Sitting on the terrace with a cup of tea, I had the idea that I could simply distribute the essences myself, if no one else in Germany does it. No sooner said than done - due to my experience as an IT specialist, the website and the rest were quickly set up and even the name - Der Essenzenladen - came to me as if by magic. After the first shipment of essences from Canada had arrived and we had also taken up some handpicked further manufacturers of essences right at the beginning I switched our first store on and when then actually sometime the first order arrived my wife and I opened directly a bottle of champagne :-)

Der Essenzenladens based on a very specific mission statement, which can be summarized in the following points:

• Speed is not witchcraft. When someone orders an essence, it is not out of boredom, but because they need it right now. Therefore, the delivery must be as fast as possible. We usually have all essences in stock and ship immediately.
• Communication is everything. Even if we can't deliver an essence right now, we let our customers know so that they at least know where they stand. Responses to inquiries are received promptly and in a friendly manner.
• We sell only authentic products with integrity. All essences and other products we have in our program have been tested by us to the best of our knowledge and we would use them ourselves at any time. We usually know the manufacturers of the products personally and can therefore guarantee that the products are authentic and have integrity.
• Quality has its price. Even though there are knock-offs, e.g. for the Australian Bush Flower Essences or  the FES Quintessentials which are much cheaper, we have remained true to the originals. We also do not get involved in any price wars. Our customers know that they only get original essences from us and that quickly and reliably. Stinginess is not cool and those who pay too little usually get too little quality.

In the meantime, we distribute a whole range of – still handpicked – essences from all over the world and can count ourselves among the leading suppliers of essences in Europe. Nevertheless, it is not our goal to grow at any price. Rather, we attach great importance to integrity – only when everything fits together and our gut feeling is right, we distribute the essences of a manufacturer.
