It was made from the flower of the Bangalow Palm (Archontophoenix cunninghamiana), which flowered for the first time in over 20 years in the garden here on the slopes of Gulaga. I love its botanical name, as the quality of this essence is just like the phoenix - rising from the ashes of the past renewed and reborn. It offers us the chance to let go of the past, our old emotional, psychological and physical habits, our long forgotten past traumas that have unconsciously informed our personality and behaviour, and begin again afresh. This is both on the personal and the collective levels.
